We are a non-profit church founded on the Holy Bible. T D Walton was led to Salvation Mountain and Slab City in 2012. The man who introduced the place to him said "this mountain has been taken over by the wrong people." In 2016, T D took a trip to Imperial County to see the mountain and found out the main caretaker was dealing meth out of Salvation Mountain under Salvation Mountain Inc. management. When T D Walton approached the board of Salvation Mountain Inc. about the meth being dealt from the mountain they sent five men to attack him. The message they gave to him was "leave the area or be killed …this is from Salvation Mountain Inc!"  Since then, T D Walton has gone so far as to put in a bid to buy Salvation Mountain and is currently working with The State of California and Imperial County Supervisor.  He has set up this church to hold Salvation Mountain Inc. accountable, build a fellowship of people and to fulfill God's vision of extending the tour on top of Salvation Mountain to a Glimpse of Eden and entrainment venue. Since we have been in Slab City as a church, we have started reaching out to the community by creating a soup kitchen, food distribution, and vision meetings.  Good gets better....

Our philosophy here at Glimpse of Eden is to be of service and get out of the false doctrines. The modern day church has taken the prosperity gospel and run with it. The modern day church is filled with false doctrine and not enough service. The government takes better care of the people than the church does and that's a shame. Especially for those who live in the Slab City area. We provide a safe space for people of all walks of life to come and share a meal. We offer pastoral counseling and out-patient drug rehabilitation services.  

To be one of us, is to serve like one of us. We do not have a pulpit that we do sermons out of but instead of just talking about Jesus, we want to walk like Jesus.
